Characteristics

The Javan myna is an introduced bird species. The tip of the tail feathers and underside of the tail is white. The bird has a gray-black body, yellow beak, and orange-yellow feet.
Habits: The Javan myna likes to rest on electric pole wires and is seen in large numbers. These birds often appear in open forests and are extremely noisy. They are omnivores.

Birdwatching period: year round
